The North Salem School staff is ready to welcome our students this week.  It's exciting times to be a North Salem Panther!  For those new to my principal updates, I will typically message families on Sunday Morning, highlighting important events/information for the coming weeks.  

This week is highlighted by:

• Welcome Back Cookout - PTA sponsored
  • Classroom visits from 4:30-5:00 - Meet your teacher
• First Day of School - Wednesday, August 27

If you are driving your child to school on Wednesday please remember that drop-off begins at 8:30 AM, with school beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Our staff will be ready to greet you and your child in the morning at drop off.  On the first two days of school all students will come right into the building, students will begin outside morning arrival time from 8:30-8:45 AM on Friday.  (This helps you and us establish a safe and efficient routine)
 
 Please be patient during our opening days' drop off and pick-up times , as these days are a bit more congested than normal. 
 Plan extra time.  Once our routines are established for everyone these two processes are both safe and efficient.
